I studied Neuroscience because I wanted to understand why we humans do the things we do. And as time goes on, the more I realize how deeply my degree influenced the way I see things and how I work.

It gave me a lens built entirely out of questions. What led that person to make that decision? Why do you and I look at the same thing and take away something different? Emotions are self-centred, experiences are personal, and none of us can 100% understand a life we haven't lived. I think about these things in my own life and relationships, but most of all, in my work.

Leading marketing in a startup environment brought me closer to understanding how different people make decisions and interact with products, but I always look for opportunities to go deeper. My behavioural science background and product marketing experience make me a natural fit for roles that put understanding people at the center.

Outside of work, I'm probably listening to Dire Straits, watching a WNBA game, or turning a thrifted tablecloth into something semi-wearable. 🙂
